  We consider ourselves blessed and fortunate to have chosen DAD's Construction for our remodeling project that first began as a small master bathroom makeover and ended up as a "house that Dan rebuilt" correctly. Our house is many decades old and was never upgraded, maintained, or constructed well. It had all kinds of issues that affected our health and well-being beyond the moisture and ventilation problems that first instigated the remodel. We didn't understand why we were often so sick until the remodel occurred and the insides of the walls, attic and floors were exposed. We chose Dan as our Contractor because he was the owner of DAD's Construction and was hands-on. He did the majority of the work himself, on-site. He was well-organized and detailed, met all the paperwork requirements, had great references, and was friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. During our time collaborating side-by-side with Dan, we got to know him well. Dan's an amazingly skilled individual with a wealth of experience. He is an artisan with an exacting and finely-honed talent; someone with honor and integrity that takes great pride in his work and has perfected his craft. He is loyal to his customers and flexible to their needs and desires. Dan maintains an unwavering sense of responsibility to serve the customer in their best interest; all within a carefully balanced framework of aesthetics, function, and the realities of time and cost. His motto was, "Do it right, the first time around, and every time." Now, our attic and garage are spic-and-span and our bathrooms are gorgeous and infinitely more usable. Our electrical, plumbing and drainage deliver, our floors are clean and new, our walls are straight, and our doors don't contort. Our home now breathes and works like it's supposed to. Our kids boast, "Our house is better than a 5 star hotel!" Dan and his team always treated us with respect and as people first, not as another job. Dan’s understanding and sincerity of caring for us as a family showed in his clean, beautiful, sturdy, and quality workmanship. We, and our children, affectionately refer to our house as "the house that Dan rebuilt." We have had many many less episodes of respiratory illnesses and feel extremely safe in our "new" home. It's been a real privilege working with Dan and DAD's Construction.

  If you have ever thought of converting your bedrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms into something spectacular, it simpler than you may think – with DAD’s Construction. I contracted with DAD's Construction to make my small, 8 foot ceiling bedrooms into something amazing. I’m an artist with an eye for detail and I wanted my own home gallery to display my work. I couldn’t figure out how to do what I wanted or even how to express what I was looking for. Dan has this talent for seeing the project completed and all the details to get there before he touches anything. His vision and ability to clearly communicate and then draw the pictures illustrating what’s in his head sets him so far apart from the competition, I honestly don’t think anyone else compares! Wow – He made cathedral ceilings without removing the roof and extended the front of the house! How he figured out where to place the 4” LED recess lights to exactly accent my art was incredible. He selected the wood floor species, its color and then custom stained solid oak baseboards to match perfectly. Dan even picked the wall and ceiling paint! The new and added windows are gorgeous and really make the rooms feel open and spacious. Rounding out these rooms are Casablanca ceiling fans with custom made plantation shutters and added electrical and cable. All this turned my ordinary bedrooms into the art gallery I dreamed about for years! On the outside, my neighbors keep telling me how beautiful and balanced the front and sides of the house look with the new and upgraded windows Dan recommended – I’m glad I took his advice! I get lots of comments on his stucco work outside. It’s so perfect and uniform people keep asking for his number – even other Contractors – can you believe that? His competitors want to hire him! It does not get any better than that! My kitchen was not “user friendly” and my bathrooms were wore out. Dan turned my master bathroom into an amazing full custom tiled walk-in shower with beautiful accents and solid wood cabinets that are elevated from the floor. The recess lighting is great! I love all the water as it rains down on me!!! My kitchen is spectacular. Dan moved some walls and raised the ceiling, creating an open “great room” that makes the whole house look and feel spacious. It was ingenious how Dan concealed my red brick fireplace that was part of the kitchen while creating a lot more cabinet space – it’s really clever! Dan is great at solving problems and his solutions are spot on. The work was superior, clean, and exceeded my expectations. I was surprised at how a few changes could make such a huge difference in the overall look of my home. DAD’s is the company you need to hire if you are looking for great solutions, durability, high quality, and friendly professional service. I absolutely recommend this trusted family business.
